​Course: Victorian Marine licence (Boat) and PWC (Jet Ski) endorsement.

Once you’ve successfully completed this course and licence assessment your certificate will be posted within two business days via Australia Post and arrive within Australia Post delivery timeframes.  You then need to present your certificate to VicRoads and pay the relevant licensing fee to obtain your licence.  No further licence testing is required at VicRoads, however you may be required to do an eye sight test.  

 

Prior to enrolling in this online training, make sure you have the following:

• Reasonable computer knowledge

• Have a personal computer or laptop with a camera, microphone and speakers so that you can successfully participate in the zoom session you have selected. 

• You will need to be connected to the internet to complete the online PreStudy and to log into the zoom session. 

• You will be sent your zoom meeting link in advance.  Please follow the instructions and log in early so if there are any issues you have time to fix prior to the start time of your course.

• You must provide a current email address and mobile phone number.

• Have the required identification which must be uploaded with the enrolment form after booking and be sighted by the trainer via the webcam during your course. A drivers licence or learners permit is acceptable.  Please see full list of ID Requirements 

• check you meet the eligibility requirements for the Marine Course

• Have a good understanding of English, both written and verbal.

No prior knowledge, study or experience necessary for all age’s from12 years old and above.

• You must be 16years old to obtain the PWC endorsement.

 

Total time commitment is four hours.  Two hour self paced and two hours online with the trainer

How is the course delivered?

One your booking and enrolment is completed you will be sent a link to a password protected page on this web site where you will be able to access the self paced training videos.

In your own time watch all of the video content on this page.  This will take you approx. 2 hours to complete.

Attend you zoom session with the link provided to you at the day and time you have selected on booking. 

During this session face to face with your trainer and a maximum of 10 other students

• your ID will be verified.  Please make sure you have your ID on hand to show the trainer over the webcam.  Other students will not be able to see your ID, only the trainer.  This is done one at a time while the rest of the class are in a virtual waiting room.

• your trainer will lead you through a presentation where more difficult content will be gone through in greater detail to ensure all students have a good understanding of the required knowledge

• you will have the opportunity to ask questions

• at the conclusion of this presentation your trainer will make the multiple choice assessment available for you to complete on your device.  This is closed book and must be done with no assistance.  Your cameral and microphone must be on so the trainer can monitor you completing the assessment tasks.
